Our West Torrens Hahn Twenty20 Cup side were unable to stop Sturt in one to put behind us.
Sturt set the target, making 7/161 from 20 overs. Zachary Maron posted 51 for our opponents, a quality fifty. Lachlan Bird contributed 34 for the hosts. With the ball, Archer Byrne did the damage, claiming two for 24 off three overs.
In reply, the group were all out for 104 in 17.4 overs. Mark Wenz was the pick of our batters with 24 off 17 balls. Lachlan Bangs claimed four for 19 for our opponents.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. We'll go again.
