Our West Torrens Kookaburra Womens 1st Grade T20 came unstuck as they came up short against Kensington away from home on Monday.
West Torrens Kookaburra Womens 1st Grade T20 10/65, Kensington 7/139 was the final tally. Sarah Lowe batted well for our opponents, making 46 off 29 balls. Aijay Willoughby was the pick of the bowlers, taking three for 22 off four overs.
Leading the way was Hannah Knowles with 23 off 32 balls. Credit to Shae Daly, who claimed a five-wicket haul (five for 14) for the hosts.
There were some fine individual efforts to build on. Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
