It was a disappointing outing for our West Torrens Kookaburra Womens 1st Grade T20, who fell short against Sturt on a day to learn from.
Sturt set us 222 to win, finishing on 4/221 from 20 overs. Elizabeth Worthley posted a cracking hundred for the hosts, finishing on 133 not out. Hannah Knowles returned figures of two for 40 off four overs.
Needing 222 to win, we finished on 8/111 from 20 overs. Ivy Hobbs batted well for 26 off 26 balls with four fours.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. We will be looking to get back in the winning column soon. Well played to our opponents.
