Our West Torrens Kookaburra Womens 1st Grade side secured a win against Kensington.
Batting first, Kensington posted 88 from 27.5 overs. Maggie Clark led the way with the ball, finishing with four for 18. Makenzie Holy claimed two for 7 as well.
In reply, the side reached the target at 5/89 in 27.4 overs. Bethan Ellis top-scored with 20 off 41 balls. Chloe Rosenzweig added a useful 20 off 47 balls.
A well-deserved victory for the girls. A terrific response after our opponents had the better of us in our last meeting.
Well played, all.
