The West Torrens Kookaburra Womens 1st Grade couldn't get past Sturt on a day that didn't go our way.
It finished 10/95 to 261. The top score came from Amara Carr, who made 29 off 53 balls. Aijay Willoughby added a useful 23 off 38 balls. Alex Price returned three for 10 for Sturt.
Samantha Betts posted 77 for the hosts, a classy fifty. Our opponents also got 47 from Elizabeth Worthley. Chelsea Shepperd grabbed three for 24.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. Thanks to the hosts for the contest.
