It was one to learn from for our West Torrens Kookaburra Womens 2nd Grade T20, who were undone by Sturt on Sunday at Unley Oval.
Batting first, we posted 4/104 from 20 overs. Ishmeet Kaur carried on to an unbeaten 45 off 53 balls.
In reply, Sturt passed our total, finishing on 7/105 in 17 overs. Credit to Rhianna Peate, who made a half-century (62) for the hosts. Dimple Sharma bowled superbly to finish with three for 9.
Plenty to take out of this one. Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
