On Sunday at Henley Grange Memorial Oval, our West Torrens Kookaburra Womens 2nd Grade were bested by Adelaide University on a day that didn't go our way.
We batted first and finished with 7/144 on the board from 36 overs. Ishmeet Kaur's 25 off 51 balls was the highlight with the bat. Rachel Banham carried on to an unbeaten 22 off 19 balls.
Adelaide University knocked off the runs, finishing on 6/148 in 35.4 overs. Emma Patel posted 60 not out for our opponents, a quality fifty. Mackenzee McCauley grabbed three for 21.
There were some quality individual efforts to build on.
Credit to the visitors, and well played.
