Good news from our West Torrens West End Mens 1st Grade - Div One, who notched a win over Adelaide thanks to Bailey Capel's 75.
Adelaide made 139, and we made 141 and 4/174. Bailey Capel's 75 off 131 balls was a half-century to remember. Jake Fraser-McGurk made an excellent 74 not out off 96 balls, a well-made fifty. Fifty for Ryan Hackney, who finished with 56 not out off 142 balls. Joshua Barnes was the main threat for the visitors, taking three for 26. Connor McFadyen picked up three for 28 for our opponents.
James Reuther finished with six for 34, a six-wicket haul to savour. Credit to Rishu Sharma, who made 42 for the visitors.
It's four wins on the bounce. It was a good way to turn the tables on our opponents, who beat us last time we met. A day to enjoy for everyone at West Torrens.
