Our West Torrens West End Mens 1st Grade - Div One were in fine form and got up against Sturt for an excellent result.
Sturt's innings ended at 5/233, ours at 6/395. Jake Fraser-McGurk's 129 off 143 balls was a century to savour. Harry Manenti brought up a fine half-century, finishing with 84 off 128 balls. Ryan Hackney made a brilliant 60 off 136 balls, a well-made fifty.
Manenti bowled superbly to finish with three for 58. James Reuther offered good support with two for 50. Josh de Caires posted 86 for our opponents, a classy fifty.
A well-deserved victory for the team. The first win of the season is in the bank.
Well played, all.
