Despite a solid effort, our West Torrens West End Mens 2nd Grade went under to Glenelg with lessons to take away.
First up, Glenelg made 7/240 from 50 overs. Jayson Bartolo made a stylish 126 for our opponents, a century worth applauding. With the ball, Archer Byrne did the damage, claiming three for 51 off ten overs.
In reply, we finished on 213 from 49.1 overs. Charlie Edmunds made a terrific 66 off 54 balls, a well-made fifty. Spencer Johnson provided good support with 37. Ratna Rahul Reddy Evuri did the damage for the hosts with four for 38.
Plenty to take out of this one.
The boys will be keen to bounce back.
