It was one to learn from for our West Torrens West End Mens 2nd Grade, who went down to Kensington on Saturday at Kensi Gdns Res - Parkinson Oval.
Our innings: 10/257. Kensington's: 9/316. Luke Terry led the way with a great hundred, finishing on 104 not out off 111 balls. Solid support came from Hudson Walshaw, who made 43. Alex Cappelluti provided good support with 39. Shivam Channa took a six-wicket haul for the hosts, finishing with six for 43. There were three for 90 for Jay Temme.
Thomas Smith picked up two for 72 off 27 overs. Fifty for Jaikar Singh, who made 72 for our opponents.
There were some polished individual efforts to build on. Chins up, everyone.
