Our West Torrens West End Mens 2nd Grade had plenty to celebrate after they defeated Southern District for back-to-back wins.
We posted 6/241, while Southern District made 9/237. Luke Terry made a brilliant 69 not out off 151 balls, a well-made fifty. Thomas Smith played a handy knock of 41. Samuel Turner contributed 38 off 81 balls. Brodie Long bowled well for the hosts, taking three for 76.
Our best with the ball was Smith, who took four for 61. Archer Byrne bowled well for two for 28. Credit to Kohan Hollitt, who made a half-century (63) for our opponents.
A well-deserved victory for the side. Well done, team.
