There were smiles all round after our West Torrens West End Mens 2nd Twenty20 beat Adelaide in a good team performance.
After batting first, we finished on 5/113 from 20 overs. Luke Terry carried on to an unbeaten 30 off 53 balls.
Chasing 114, Adelaide reached 9/101 from 20 overs. Credit to Hamish Height, who made 35 for the visitors. With the ball, Mitchell Scholes did the damage, claiming two for 16 off four overs.
The runs on the board proved more than enough. It's our first win of the season, and a well-deserved one.
Congratulations to the team on a terrific result.
