There was no joy for our West Torrens West End Mens 3rd Grade, who lost to Glenelg.
Glenelg batted first and reached 9/162 from 40 overs. For our opponents, Kuwerdeep Singh made 42. Curtis Alsop chipped in with 34 for the visitors. The wickets were shared around, with Bailey horsell taking four for 33. Archer Rothall bowled nicely for two for 19.
Our chase ended at 129 from 32.3 overs. Jack Terry led the way with 29 with three fours. Rothall also got among the runs with 24. Oliver Wilkinson was the main threat for our opponents, taking three for 31.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
The results haven't gone our way lately, but the team will keep at it. Credit to the visitors, and well played.
