It was a day to regroup for our West Torrens West End Mens 3rd Grade, who were denied by Woodville on a frustrating day.
Woodville's innings ended at 196, ours at 10/137. Mason Rees was the pick of our batters with 45 off 77 balls. There were also handy runs from Marco Gariboli (34). Sterling Hall was the main threat for our opponents, taking three for 22.
Bailey horsell tore through the batting order, taking six for 38. Dylan Batt made a fine 61 for the visitors, a well-deserved half-century.
There were some fine individual efforts to build on.
Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
