It just wasn't our day: our West Torrens West End Mens 4th Grade were second best against Adelaide University on a day that didn't go our way.
Batting first, we posted 92 from 30.1 overs. Lachlan Sheppard was the pick of our batters with 25 off 37 balls. Karthick AR did the damage for Adelaide University with four for 13. William Sizeland picked up three for 15 for the hosts.
In reply, our opponents passed our total, finishing on 1/94 in 15.3 overs. Raymond Sillifant passed fifty for the hosts, finishing with 52 not out.
Our opponents were too strong this time around.
Chins up, everyone.
