Our West Torrens West End Mens 4th Grade were unable to stop Port Adelaide away from home.
Port Adelaide batted first and made 231 from 38.2 overs. James Ashby made a good 109 for our opponents, a century worth applauding. Michael Jansson returned figures of two for 29 off 7.2 overs. Lachlan Townsend bowled impressively for two for 48.
In reply, we finished on 6/230 from 40 overs. Henry Blatchford's 64 off 44 balls was a half-century to remember. ANUJ RAO added a useful 40 off 42 balls.
So close, and plenty of positives to take away.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
