There was plenty to celebrate as our West Torrens West End One Day Cup defeated Kensington in commanding fashion.
Kensington batted first and made 122 from 35.3 overs. Our opponents' best with the bat was Henry Hunt, who made 26. James Reuther was the pick of the bowlers, taking four for 31 off seven overs. Deakin Murphy chipped in with three for 12.
In reply, the group reached the target at 1/125 in 24.4 overs. Bailey Capel brought up a polished half-century, finishing with 53 not out off 63 balls. Kelvin Smith also got among the runs with 33 off 58 balls.
A big win, and a performance to build on. Onwards and upwards.
