There were smiles all round after our West Torrens West End Twenty20 Cup were too good for Prospect at Prospect Oval (Revo Fitness Oval) on Tuesday.
Prospect batted first and made 4/155 from 20 overs. Kyle Scrimegour passed fifty for the hosts, finishing with 52. There were 43 from Morgan Bevans for our opponents. The wickets were shared around, with Seamus Keogh taking two for 31.
In reply, the side reached the target at 1/157 in 15.5 overs. Kelvin Smith posted a half-century, making 60 not out off 39 balls with three fours and three sixes. Harry Manenti was unbeaten on 46 off 25 balls. There were also handy runs from Bailey Capel (40).
That's five wins on the trot for the group. Onwards and upwards.
