In 2. Senior Women's Competition, our West Torrens Womens 1st Grade Stadium Real Estate got the better of Payneham thanks to Natalie Mitchell's 40.
Batting first, Payneham posted 10/96 from 19.2 overs. Paige Denholm was the pick of our bowlers with two for 6. There were also wickets for Sanaya Shah (two for 22).
In reply, the side reached the target at 4/97 in 19 overs. Natalie Mitchell carried on to an unbeaten 40 off 49 balls.
Our bowlers shared the wickets around. A superb response after the hosts had the better of us in our last meeting. It's our first win of the season, and a well-deserved one.
Well played, all.
