Despite a solid effort, our West Torrens Womens 1st Grade Stadium Real Estate lost their match against Kensington (1) on a frustrating day.
We posted 8/115, and Kensington (1) 8/190. Lara Barone played a stylish hand of 25 off 31 balls. Five wickets for Olivia Napier of the hosts, who returned five for 28.
Chloe Juers made a quality 63 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century. With the ball, Nelly Ryan did the damage, claiming two for 14 off three overs. Ava Lawrie chipped in with two for 21.
Credit to the hosts, who played well. We will be looking to get back in the winning column soon.
Congratulations to our opponents on the win.
