Our West Torrens West End Mens 4th Grade were on song as they were too good for Prospect at Henley High School in Senior Men.
Batting first, we posted 8/163 from 40 overs. Mark Whenan brought up a classy half-century, finishing with 65 not out off 54 balls. There were also handy runs from Sebastian Wadsworth (21).
We bowled Prospect out for 108 in 32.4 overs. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Alex Gunther, who made 51 not out. Lachlan Townsend claimed an excellent five-wicket haul, finishing with five for 18. Wadsworth finished with three for 12.
A well-deserved victory for the boys.
Two wins on the trot now for the team. Well played, all.
