It wasn't to be for our West Torrens Kookaburra Womens 1st Grade T20, who couldn't get past Glenelg on Monday.
With the bat first up, we compiled 4/117 from 20 overs. Jo Gardner made a brilliant 52 off 42 balls, a well-made fifty. Amara Carr contributed 35 off 38 balls.
Glenelg reached the target at 0/120 in 18 overs. Tabatha Saville passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 60 not out. Kayla McGrath posted 52 not out for the hosts, a fine fifty.
There were some good individual efforts to build on.
We will be looking to get back in the winning column soon. Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
