It was a good day out for our West Torrens West End Twenty20 Cup, who accounted for Tea Tree Gully with a performance to be proud of.
We batted first and finished with 3/190 on the board from 20 overs. Kelvin Smith posted a half-century, making 99 off 67 balls with thirteen fours and two sixes. Daniel Drew made 42 off 29 balls.
Our bowlers kept Tea Tree Gully to 6/182 from 20 overs in reply. Credit to Joe Gatting, who made a half-century (63) for the visitors. Fifty for Kane Halfpenny, who made 59 for our opponents.
Contributions came from right through the line-up. That's six wins on the trot for the group. A day to enjoy for everyone at West Torrens.
