Our West Torrens West End Mens 4th Grade side were unable to stop East Torrens on a day to learn from.
Batting first, East Torrens posted 7/181 from 40 overs. Credit to Graeme Yates, who made a half-century (51) for our opponents. Fergus Gowans was the pick of our bowlers with two for 24. Harrison Whenan finished with two for 38.
Our chase ended at 120 from 34.2 overs. Bailey horsell's 17 off 27 balls was the highlight with the bat. Daniel Cocks was the main threat for the visitors, taking three for 14.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
