There was no joy for our West Torrens Hahn Twenty20 Cup, who lost out to Adelaide at Park 25 - Oval 2.
We batted first and finished with 4/179 on the board from 20 overs. Bailey Capel's 98 off 57 balls was a half-century to remember. Seamus Keogh played a handy knock of 36.
Adelaide reached the target at 4/183 in 15.5 overs. Credit to Connor Carroll, who made a century (108) for our opponents. Connor McFadyen weighed in with 39 for the visitors. Archer Byrne grabbed two for 30.
There were some good individual efforts to build on. A tough stretch, and one the team will be determined to end.
Well played to our opponents.
