There was plenty to celebrate as our West Torrens West End Mens 2nd Grade came away winners against Prospect by five wickets at Henley Grange Memorial Oval on Saturday.

Prospect batted first and put 158 on the board from 49.4 overs. Harvey Iredale batted well for our opponents, making 37 off 105 balls. There were 31 from Tirth Patel for the visitors. A six-wicket haul to Thomas Smith, who finished with six for 23 off ten overs. Jensen John bowled impressively for two for 28.

In reply, the boys reached the target at 5/160 in 32.4 overs. Fifty for Charlie Edmunds, who finished with 57 off 35 balls.

The work with the ball set up the win. That's a third straight win.

Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
