It was a tough day out for our West Torrens West End Mens 3rd Grade, who were bested by Prospect at Broadview Oval on Saturday.
Prospect set the target, making 6/241 from 40 overs. Hayden Scrimegour passed fifty for the hosts, finishing with 80. Alex Osborne made a useful 39 for our opponents. Angus Petherick bowled beautifully to finish with three for 46.
In reply, we finished on 155 from 36.2 overs. Leading the way was Marco Gariboli with 21 off 44 balls. ANUJ RAO also got among the runs with 20 off 34 balls. Osborne bowled impressively for the hosts, a six-wicket haul of six for 41.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. Well played to our opponents.
