It was an excellent day for our West Torrens Kookaburra Womens 2nd Grade, who accounted for Northern Districts for an excellent result.
Batting first, we posted 153 from 33.2 overs. A classy 63 off 72 balls from Grisha Patel was the highlight. Solid support came from Brianna Cheetham, who made 28. Mollie McArdle returned four for 28 for Northern Districts.
Our bowlers kept our opponents to 10/106 from 39.3 overs in reply. McArdle led the way for the visitors with 34 off 65 balls. Cheetham starred with the ball, taking three for 20.
Contributions came from right through the line-up.
Onwards and upwards.
