Our West Torrens Kookaburra Womens 2nd Grade side went down against Adelaide in a tough outing.
Our innings closed at 8/133 from 40 overs. The top score came from Rachel Banham, who made 35 off 69 balls. Credit to Anjli Thakur, who took three for 30 for Adelaide.
The visitors reached the target at 5/134 in 37.1 overs. Thakur was 32 not out for our opponents. Mackenzee McCauley grabbed two for 20. Cadence Murdoch bowled superbly for two for 21.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
