In Senior Women action, our West Torrens Kookaburra Womens 2nd Grade had to give best to Adelaide on a frustrating day.
We batted first and finished with 7/162 on the board from 40 overs. Brianna Cheetham's 56 off 61 balls was a half-century to remember. Mackenzee McCauley made 31 off 67 balls.
Adelaide knocked off the runs, finishing on 5/163 in 35.4 overs. Jasmin Earl made a fine 59 not out for the visitors, a well-deserved half-century. With the ball, Cadence Murdoch did the damage, claiming two for 28 off eight overs.
There were some classy individual efforts to build on. Chins up, everyone.
