It was a disappointing outing for our West Torrens West End Mens 2nd Grade, who lost their match against Sturt on a day to learn from.
With the bat, we made 10/157; Sturt made 234. Hudson Walshaw's 38 off 111 balls was the highlight with the bat. Luke Terry played a handy knock of 33. A seven-wicket haul to Connor Lamsdale for our opponents (seven for 22).
Archer Byrne bowled cleverly to finish with three for 38. Isaac Gillard added three for 41. Thomas Schulze passed fifty for the hosts, finishing with 73.
A tough stretch, and one the side will be determined to end. Chins up, everyone.
