It wasn't to be for our West Torrens West End Mens 1st Grade - Div One, who were bettered by Kensington at Kensi Gdns Res - Parkinson Oval.
We batted first and finished with 150 on the board from 43.5 overs. Kelvin Smith played a good hand of 35 off 37 balls. Bailey Capel made 31 off 72 balls. Lloyd Pope was the pick of Kensington's bowlers with four for 31. Cameron Fatchen backed up with three for 15 for the hosts.
In reply, our opponents passed our total, finishing on 3/151 in 31.1 overs. Henry Dall was the main threat for the hosts, making 49.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
We'll go again.
